Rules

• Registration: Participants must register for the competition by the specified deadline.
• Quiz Format: The primary round will be a quiz which will consist of Multiple-choice questions. Best five teams will be selected for Buzzer-based questions. In case of a tie, tie-breaker rounds or questions will be used to determine the winner. The format of the tie-breaker will be at the discretion of the judge/organiser (Audio/Video, Rapid Fire, etc.)
• Language: The quiz will be conducted in English.
• Decorum: Participants must maintain decorum and discipline throughout the competition. Any disruptive behavior may lead to disqualification.
• Organizers' Decision: The decision of the organizers and judges regarding the quiz format, rules, and results will be final and binding.
• Changes to Rules: The organizers reserve the right to modify the rules and regulations at any time. Participants will be informed of any changes in advance.

Buzzer-Based Round Rules

• Buzzer System: A functional buzzer system will be used for the buzzer rounds.
• Question Format: Questions will be read aloud by the quizmaster.
• Answering: Participants must press the buzzer to indicate their intention to answer. The participant who presses the buzzer first will get the opportunity to answer.
• First Press: The participant who presses the buzzer first will be given a chance to answer. If they provide a wrong answer, a negative marking may be applied, and the question may be passed on to other participants (at the quizmaster's discretion).
• Buzzing Before Question: Participants are not allowed to press the buzzer before the question has been completed. Pressing the buzzer prematurely may lead to disqualification from that question.
• Time Limit to Answer: Once the buzzer is pressed, the participant will have a specific time limit (e.g., 10 seconds) to answer the question.
